Meraki Farm

At Meraki Farm, our main goal is to honour the whole animal and the space wherethey tread, offering products from our farm to people who value unique local fibreproducts with a personal connection. ‘Meraki’ is a greek word which reflects hardwork and putting one’s body and soul completely into something. Meraki Farmconnects and binds us to the land and to daily and seasonal rhythms, with a focus onhigh quality fibre from our small flock of sheep, tribe of mohair goats and guardianllamas. Located in Mount Albert, Ontario, about 20 minutes south of Lake Simcoe,we offer all manner of lock and curl. Our unique products range from artisticallyfelted pieces, such as shrugs and shawls, soaps, mug sleeves, dryer balls,ornaments and cat toys, to locally spun yarn, Ontario processed pelts, and looselocks and roving from wool, mohair and llama. Each of our animals has its particularpersonality, fleece-type and colours, and we are working towards sharing these withyou as we develop.
